Alanya

Alanya is a seaside resort located in the Turkish Province of Antalya. It is a two hour drive away from Antalya. With its historical past, the various natural and historical sights and the multicultural way of life have made Alanya an unforgettable experience. Many different kinds of watersports, the colourful bazaar and the happy night-life have made Alanya very popular with local and European tourists.

The climate in Alanya is a very moderate climate. The summers are long, hot and dry and sometimes you see a water spout during a storm cell. Because of the closeness of the mountains many mornings you will get a fog that rolls in and then turning into a rainbow as it dissipates. Also due to the elevation of the mountains snow can be seen on the top of the mountains, even in the middle of summer.
